aluminum frame 
This is an excellent bicycle for the money. It's a "value" line, no top of the line components, but all function well. My wife likes this because it's light weight thanks to the aluminum frame. We've had it almost two years with no problems so far.
Scwhinn 26 Inch Women's Coronado Bike 
I purchased this bike from [...] for my girlfriend b-day. I ordered the standard shipping, takes two weeks to get it.
The problem is assemble the bike. It seems very easy, but I find that the front wheel part is very difficult. I cannot take out the one of screws of the wheel. So I took it to the hardware store where they found difficult to take it out, too. There is no manual or note to assemble the bike. The Scwhinn or [...] should mention some warnings of assemble the bike.
I was so tired and disappointed about this bike!!
By the way, she was happy about her B-day present.
If women buy this alone, they need some help to assemble the bike.
Great bike, Assembly required 
The bike is very nice. I'm about 5'8" and the bike feels very comfortable as far as proportions. It looks great and is easy to ride.
The bike comes in mostly assembled, but you do have to attach handlebars, seat, front wheel. I did have an issue with fine tuning the gears and brakes. While I got it for a good price, I had to spend a good chunk of the savings on having these issues fixed at a local store. I think Schwinn kind of expect that because their manual, repeatedly states you should take it to a professional if you're not sure. The manual is not specific to this model and VERY wordy. It does have some good maintenance information. If I had to do it again, I would have paid a little extra at a local store to get the bike as they would have assembled/ tuned it for me (I think).
Bottom line: Great bike, great price. As this is an entry-level/recreational bike (and you probably don't have the tools/ know-how), don't forget to factor in costs for professional assembly/ tuning.
Nice Bike, Very Light Weight
We just bought this bike in a store, fully assembled, and about 10 dollars more than the Amazon listed price. It is extremely light weight which is nice as my mom and I will both be using it, and it will be parked in the back of our garage. It is very easy to maneuver out of the garage, even with the car inside due to its lightness. I rode a much heavier bike before, so this almost felt too light.
The construction seems sound and the seat is quite comfortable. Our only complaint is that there is an unusual clicking sound while pedaling. We think we know what is causing it, but it may take a while to locate the area that needs adjusting.
I give a 4/5 as I have not fully tested its performance and am not happy with the clicking, however, if assembled yourself, it should be fine.
One last note, the quick release for the seat and front wheel is very handy.
Schwinn Coronado Comfort
The bike was delivered as promised, in superior shipping packaging. The instructions were generally clear, however the original assembly was not as I expected and it did require significant adjustments. There were a couple key component issues (one being an improperly assembled gooseneck and one a missing front axel), which prevented the immediate final assembly. In Schwinn's defense, the Schwinn 800 help line was better than expected and I received the missing components as quickly as possible. Certainly I must say I saved a significant amount over a bike shop, (this is a bike shop quality bike). Now knowing the potential frustation of assembly and adjustment difficulties one might encounter, the decision is save $100 or buy from a bike shop, pay more, but eliminate the assembly issues.
The bike is well designed, uses top quality components and has a good aftersales service network. I would purchase this product again, (knowing the difficulties I personally encountered).
